Summary of Service
TSAS provides no cost specialist sexual assault counselling to all children, young people, and non-offending women and men before during and/or after a sexual harm event or concern. With a strong focus on prevention, we offer Protective Behaviours Education to all children and families irrespective of whether something has happened or not. We see clients by appointment only. We work with clients in our Atherton office, by phone, Skype or outreach to schools, community centres, workplaces, parks and homes. We support with police and court involvement, victim compensation, referrals to other services and advocacy for safer living and social conditions.
Programs and Initiatives
Provide counselling, support, advocacy, information, advice and referral to people who have been sexually assaulted during their lives and support and education for parents, siblings and friends.
TSAS also provides Community Education to groups, schools, organisations and workplaces via presentations, in-services, information stalls and special events.
